Nikki Bentley has a florishing career as a Stage Performer. Currently performing with her resident Dolls at The Greene Room in Milton Keynes she will be leaving soon to become the Principal Singer on the RMS Queen Mary 2. WOW lucky girl but well deserved I say!
Nikki came to me for help with her brows. She is a stunning beautiful young woman that obviously has an abundance of talent. However, like the majority of us women irrespective of age, she wanted symmetrical redesigned brows.

Tammy is a qualified and registered osteopath, massage therapist and reflexologist who also works in two clinics in Cambridge. She will be taking over our MK clinic whilst Sally is on annual leave and will be happy to help with any back & neck pain, sports injuries, work related strain, pregnancy discomfort and any general aches, pains and niggles you may have. Cancellation PolicyWe wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about our cancellation policy. As a courtesy to other clients and our staff, please ensure that you provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or amend an appointment. If you fail to provide 24 hours notice we will have no choice but to charge you a 50% fee. This is not something we want to enforce, however recently we have been let down several times by various clients for relatively long appointments, staff and equipment are then left idle. I am sure you can see our frustration especially, when we have turned other people away because there was no available appointments. Clinic EtiquetteWe would like to respectfully request that when possible young children/babies are not brought into the clinic whilst you are having treatment. We understand that this is not always an option, so if you have no choice but to bring a minor with you, please ensure that there is someone available to supervise your child whilst you are having your treatment. Unfortunately children are not allowed in some of our treatment rooms and whilst our staff are happy to keep an eye on them if they can, we can not guarantee that there will be anyone available to do so. One of the reasons for requesting no minors at the clinic is due to the disruption/noise that is caused whilst relaxing treatments are taking place. We do hope that we are not offending anyone by asking this.

Trans gatheringDelia via her company “Delia’s Trans Advisory” and with the support of Bodilight is planning to hold a monthly ‘Trans’ gathering, this will be held within Milton Keynes, using a village hall type location (yet to be confirmed). Well, there has been a sudden increase in temperature in Milton Keynes this week and we love it! Isn’t it so lovely to wake up for work with the sun beaming through the window? Delia's transition - Permanent makeup

After making the biggest decision of her life in January 2010, Delia took the first steps as part of the transition from male to female – transgender. It took Delia over 50 years to build up the courage to make the change and I’m sure you can imagine how much of a traumatic life changing experience lay ahead for her.

We at Bodilight are proud to have been a part of helping Delia in a number of ways with her transition so far and feel that our experience in dealing with such a delicate personal situation has assisted in her in feeling comfortable and confident within our clinic environment. Delia has undergone laser hair removal, permanent eyebrow and permanent eyeliner procedures and a selection of other treatments which she has been delighted with the results.

Tracey Fensome's (Permanent Makeup Artist) role in Delia’s transition was to provide permanent cosmetic makeup to accentuate and soften her features. This was achieved by using Nouveau Contour pigment colours. Her experience and expertise in applying these advance techniques is clearly demonstrated in the photos attached. It is obvious how permanent makeup also known as micropigmentation can enhance and change the whole face.

Delia had very few brows left that could be incorporated into the brow, and the shape was not feminine enough to show off her great brow bone, so it was a case of starting from scratch. Tracy used permanent hair strokes techniques to create the shape and added powdering to give strength to the permanent eyebrow. Once the eyebrow was complete she then continued to the eyes and created a subtle permanent eyeliner through the lashes in ‘black is black’ colour pigment and finished the bottom eyeliner in a subtle deep purple black. The results are stunning and bring out Delia's beautiful natural eye colour. The next step at a later appointment will be to redefine her lips with a subtle permanent lip line and blended into her natural lip colour to redefine and repigment the area. This will also be carried out at Bodilight very soon!

The whole process has convinced Delia that she wants to help others like her achieve transition as smoothly as possible. Through Delia’s own experiences she has built a range of relationships and contacts in all areas such as image and wardrobe advice, deportment lessons, voice coaching and much more. Christmas Time

Well, there's only 2 days untill Christmas Eve and the shops have gone crazy, but thanks to the constant snow the cancellations have been flooding in at Bodilight. What a nightmare! However, thanks to our dedicated and reliable team who have managed to get themselves in to work , business hours have been as per usual.

Our last working day this year is Christmas Eve! and we are all getting very excited as the clinic Christmas tree is looking rather full with lots of goodies ready for us to open. Thank you to all of you that thought of us this Christmas.

This year we are trying something new!!! Bodilight has always previously closed between Christmas eve and New Year, but last year we had such a huge demand for spray tans and nail treatments before New Years Eve, we have made the decision to open - But for 1 day only. - Thursday 30th December. The response so far has been great - lets just hope the weather holds out. There are still a few appointments available so give us a call if you would like to get yourself booked in.We will be open from 9am - 7pm!.

Our Christmas Party

Well what a weekend!

Bodilight had our work Christmas party on Saturday, and although sadly 2 members of staff were ill, the rest of us enjoyed a gorgeous meal at HaHa Bar & Grill restaurant here at the Hub, Central Milton Keynes. We highly recommend it! Both the food and the service was brilliant and we will definitely be returning!

This weekend also saw the crowning of the newest XFactor winner Mr Matt Cardle! We were all huge fans of Matt and Rebecca Furguson so we were all really pleased it was them in the final! Although Cheryl Cole was the winning judge last year, so it was good to see Danni Minogue get her turn this year.

Most importantly Bodilight had its own exciting news this weekend - We have introduced 2 fantastic new treatments! Gel nails, and the amazing Nouveau semi-permanent eyelash extensions!!

Over the past year we have had a huge demand for nail treatments so when in March this year we introduced manicures, pedicures and nail extensions to the clinic, the popularity with both existing and new clients went down a treat. WOW, what a manic week!, people are obviously getting in the spirit of Christmas, Gift vouchers have so been popular, probably because we are giving away an extra 20% FREE for any value of vouchers purchased throughout November.
